The primary goal of this full body, Swedish style massage is to relax the entire body. Practitioners use a variety of relaxing strokes using a light to medium pressure, which increases blood flow to the skin and muscles and removes muscle tension. Guests leave feeling an overall sense of health, balance and well-being. Also, a wonderful introduction to massage for those first-time spa guests.
ROOTED DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

Practitioners use firm to deep pressure working into the tissue, as it relaxes, using more of the forearms and elbows to release deep layers of muscle tension throughout the body. Although more therapeutic in nature, this massage is not performed by a registered massage therapist.

This targeted massage focuses on the back, neck & shoulders. It’s aim is to ease tension, increase circulation and provide muscle relief to those tense areas. This intensive massage does double duty by incorporating the use of a full spectrum CBD massage oil that is grown and hand crafted right here locally in the Cowichan Valley.

HOT STONE MASSAGE

A hot stone massage is a type of massage therapy. It’s used to help you relax and ease tense muscles and damaged soft tissues throughout your body. During a hot stone massage, smooth, flat, heated stones are placed on specific parts of your body. The stones are usually made of basalt, a type of volcanic rock that retains heat. According to the University of New Hampshire Health Services, hot massage stones are heated to between 130 and 145 degrees.
