COVID-19 Spa Policies and Procedures

These policies and procedures may be updated at any time and are a combination for mandatory protocols put in place by Worksafe BC and recommendations from Health Canada.It is very important these policies and procedures are acknowledged and followed by all guests and spa staff.

We value the health of you, your family members, and ourselves. Your adherence to these changes will assist us in offering you a safe service experience at Cowichan Bay Spa.

We ask that you please be patient, kind and compassionate as we adapt to these changes. Your understanding and co-operation is greatly appreciated and will make this transition to the “new normal” easier for us all. We look forward to seeing you all soon!

What to Expect…

Upon arrival you will go through a brief pre-screening. Our Receptionist / Spa Co-ordinator will check your temperature and you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire to confirm you are not experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19.

Face masks are optional. Please bring one with you if you need, or if you don’t have one, we will supply one for you.

We provide hand sanitizer for you to use before entering the spa.

Please cancel your appointment if you are sick, with no cancellation fees.

Changes & Updates…

We are serving tea, spa snacks in disposable cups and bottled water.

Please leave all non-essential personal items in your car.

Please ask to use product testers. Our receptionist or a staff member will help you.

When browsing the Retail Area please avoid touching the products. If you would like to purchase anything or have any retail questions the receptionist or a staff member can assist you.

Spa hours will temporarily change as we are running at half the capacity. The spa will be closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Pre-book your service by telephone, email, or book directly online on our website.

Our spa staff always wash their hands thoroughly before and after each treatment, as well as thoroughly disinfect the contact surfaces after each guest. We will continue to use the highest sanitation standards. Washrooms and waiting areas are disinfected after each use.
